Our first Shakespeare in Lamyatt outdoor performance in the garden at Speeds Farm took place in 2011, the brainchild of hosts Simone and David Ash. A small volunteer team came together to create an event to raise funds for the upkeep of Lamyatt’s 13th century church and the redevelopment of its village hall.

Professionally produced by the renowned Festival Players Theatre Company,
since its first performance in Lamyatt the all-male cast has entertained some 2,500 people.

We hope you’ll join us for our next production!

Come back to soon for updates!

Garden open at 5.30pm for picnics. Performance starts at 7pm.
