We look forward to welcoming you to Lamyatt, near Bruton, in June 2025 for our 15th production: Shakespeare's 'As You Like It', performed by the Festival Players (Patron Dame Judi Dench and directed by Michael Dyer formerly of the Minack Theatre).

We suggest you approach from the village centre rather than down Portway Hill as it is is very narrow with limited passing space.

Professionally produced by the renowned Festival Players Theatre Company, since its first performance in Lamyatt, the all-male cast has entertained over 3,000 people in Somerset.
Our first 'Shakespeare in Lamyatt' outdoor performance took place in 2011. The event is organised and planned by a small volunteer team from the village to raise funds for the upkeep of Lamyatt’s 13th century church and village hall.
